There are 3 announcement types, that is, General Announcement, Primary Listing Announcement and Secondary Listing Announcement. An announcement cannot be more than one announcement type. As such, you cannot have a General Announcement that is also a Primary Listing Announcement.
The 'announcement/submission workflow' can be viewed by clicking the VIEW FLOW option on the “SENS Worklist screen”. This workflow indicates the activities through which the announcement/submission may or may not move, based on the IRS rules. It is not necessary for every announcement/submission to go through all the workflow steps. Certain conditions determine the alternate workflow of the announcement/submission. For example, for a particular announcement, the process may not require the activity of ‘CA Approval’ or ‘CF Approval’.
