Request Access Pin Code

 Only certain functions within the system are available to all users. This is dependant on a user's assigned role and permissions.

 

Refer to the section "Token Management Overview" and "Access the Token Management screen" for additional information.

 

 

Procedure to request an Access Pin Code

An External User must obtain an Access Pin Code in order to access the "Token Browser screen". Refer to the section "Request Access Pin Code process flow" for additional information.

Select the TOKEN MANAGEMENT option from the Main Menu.

Note: The "Token Management screen" will be displayed.

Select either SMS or EMAIL from the Notification Method field. This is a mandatory field. The system will  send the Access Pin Code to the user using one of these two methods.

  • When SMS is selected, the Access Pin Code is sms'ed to the user.

  • When Email is selected, the Access Pin Code is emailed to the user.

Click the REQUEST ACCESS PIN CODE button.

Note:

  • The following message is displayed (Email): "Your Access Pin has been sent by email to [email protected]".

  • The following message is displayed (SMS): "Your Access Pin has been sent by SMS to +27xxxxxxxxx".

You will now need to wait for the Access Pin Code to be received via SMS or EMAIL.

Enter the Access Pin Code in the Access Pin field.

Click the SUBMIT button.

Note: Once the system has verified the Access Pin Code, the following two tabs will be displayed:

  • Browse Tokens tab - The user is able to browse all tokens created for the current company selected. Refer to the section "Browse Tokens" for additional information.

  • Create Tokens tab - The user is able to create new tokens for the current company selected. Refer to the section "Create new Tokens" for additional information.

 

 

IMPORTANT: If the Access Pin Code is incorrect, the system will display an error message and prompt the user to re-enter the Access Pin Code. After three incorrect attempts the user will be logged out of the system and the user account will be locked. Contact the System Administrator to have your account unlocked.
