PREREQUISITE: A new External User cannot apply for registration to IRS without first obtaining a REGISTRATION TOKEN. Without a REGISTRATION TOKEN the application cannot be completed successfully. The External User will need to request a REGISTRATION TOKEN from a "Super User" in their organisation. |
All users have to complete the registration process before they will be granted access to IRS . This is done by completing the "New External Registration Application".
The "New External Registration Application" is accessible from the "User Login screen". It is also accessible to External Super Users once a Token is selected on the "Browse Tokens screen".
When a company becomes a customer of the JSE, certain of their staff will require access to the system. At least one company staff member must have the role of External Super User. Once this is completed, this user will manage and control the registration applications for the other company staff members.
The External Super User will generate the relevant Registration Tokens on behalf of the other company staff members. Refer to the section "Token Management".
If required, the External Super User can request access to IRS, on behalf of the External User, by filling in the "New External Registration Application".
The user must successfully complete all mandatory fields on the "New External Registration Application" in order to submit the "New External Registration Application" to the JSE. Once the "New External Registration Application" has been submitted, it will undergo an approval process by the JSE.
Note: Should a "new external registration application" be declined, an email will be sent to the External User informing them as to the reason. The External User will need to reapply for registration.
