Request Password Reset

The purpose of this screen is to request a password reset when the user has forgotten his/her password.

Procedure to request a password reset

To access the "Manage Own Account", simply click the MANAGE OWN ACCOUNT option on the "User Login screen".

Click the CHANGE PROFILE option at the top of each screen.

Note: The "JSE AD Web Portal screen" will be displayed.

Log in to the "JSE AD Web Portal".

Click the REQUEST PASSWORD RESET option.

Enter your user name in the UserName field.

Enter the image code in the field displayed.

Note: If you cannot read the code, you can click the GENERATE NEW IMAGE option or you can click the GET AUDIO CODE to listen to the code.

Click the REQUEST PASSWORD RESET button.

Note: The following message will be displayed: "Your temporary password has been emailed to you. Please go on the AD Self Service Portal and confirm your request".

IMPORTANT: If no email address has been defined for the user, the following error message will be displayed: "User does not have a valid email address".  As such, no temporary password will be sent to the user.

You will need to confirm the temporary password and enter a new password once you have received an email from the JSE.  

Note: Refer to the section "Confirm Password Reset".
